Loved this place! Good food, friendly, good service and what a view! Pity it was raining when we went, but will be back on a sunny day!

Lots of smiling staff, attentive and swift service. Coffee was good, fried breakfast was solid. High quality sausage, beans were contained, massive grilled tomato, and black pudding as an option. HP sauce was a bonus. Sat outside on this beautiful, sunny autumn morning so that helped. But for a little context, my wife is a Caramel latte snob and openly described theirs as ‘bloody good’. If you’re from south of there it’ll feel inexpensive, but compared locally it’s fair.

September 2024: Visited here for brunch and it did not disappoint. The farm shop and cafe is situated in a lovely setting with beautiful views. Access is off a main road down a small country lane - easily passible but drive with caution. Plenty of parking available at the farm shop/cafe. We ordered the full breakfast, two breakfast cobbs and a poached egg and avocado on toast. All four meals were excellent - highly recommend the bacon, egg and sausage cobb! The bacon and sausage tasted high quality - not like a typical shop produced item. Also ordered a breakfast tea which came as loose leaf. The cafe itself is 'self service' in that you pick your own table, order at the till and collect your own cutlery. Nice way of doing things and means that you can order and eat at your own pace without feeling pressure from staff. Saying that, all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Not the cheapest place around for brunch, but the quality of the food was worth it. There is a small farm shop across from the cafe serving hot drinks and snacks if not wanting a full meal. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and even a log burner outside undercover for that warm cosy feeling. Highly recommend and will return.

Stumbled upon this cafe by chance. The site also has a separate farm shop with outdoor heating, but we wanted to have lunch so tried the cafe. When we arrived it was very busy. Thankfully some large groups were just leaving so we were able to secure a table. Tables can be booked in advance for groups of 6+, otherwise walk in and find yourself an available table. They have plenty of outdoor seating in the terrace, which I imagine in the summer will be delightful. We chose off the lunch menu and went for a pigs in blanket toastie and a pulled pork roast or. Each came with a little salad and some coleslaw. The chai lattes were so sweet and delicious. We enjoyed all our lunch and will be definitely returning. Treated ourselves to a takeaway cake (cinnamon blondie) for good measure.
